      • I’m afraid it’s no longer available. This was a very limited sale to thank us and our community for the support we’ve given Sessions over the past few years.

        • Yeah, that’s not a problem.

What I mean is similar to Zoom, there’s an integrated “remote access”, for context I think windows calls it Remote Desktop, which is similar to a VNC, where the host shares his screen and allows the attendee to control it.

          USECASE:

(Useful for live electronic mouse swipped hand signatures/typing name and DOB an alternative to docusign which is another possible conform way of signing )

It could also be used for troubleshooting I suppose.

          Browserbased VS install

Now, how I’ve seen this done in browser based videoconference in contrast to installed programs. There’s usually an .exe/dmg the host can open, which allows the attende to control his screen from the browser for that session.

That maximizes security for the attendee and reduces intuitive load in the attendee as well.

          Let me know!

    1. If I add a team member to my workspace and that team member creates a session with a contact whilst in my workspace, would this contact come off my 250-contact limit or would the contact come off of my team members 30-contact limit (assuming the team member i added is on free account but the session they created is within my workspace where I added them)?

    2. Suggestions:

      1. Rescheduling (that can occur both by pressing a reschedule button from email notification reminders or by directly dragging the session timeslot to a different time on Google Calendar or other synced calendar) + an input box to request a reason for rescheduling that the user types out manually.

An issue I often see for rescheduling for many similar SaaS is the inability to reschedule overlapping time slots to postpone the meeting by just a few minutes. Let’s say the originally meeting was set for 3 – 4pm by the user with a buffer of 30 minutes between each meeting. That means 3 to 4:30pm is blocked off from scheduling by anyone else. However, if the original user now needs to postpone the 3pm meeting to 3:30pm, he cannot because the software feels that 3-4:30pm are already taken, even though it’s taken by the SAME USER who wishes to slightly reschedule that timeslot.

So we need a feature where a user clicking the reschedule button frees up his original time slot to himself only, but does not free up that timeslot for anyone else in that 2-3 minutes he’s rescheduling.

      2. Buffer zone — we should be able to set a buffer zone of custom durations (e.g. 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, 1 hr, etc.) between each meeting

      3. Max number of meetings per day — we should be able to set how many Sessions.us meetings we want maximum per day, as well as max number of meetings for a particular type of meeting per day

      4. Email notification reminders — customized emails that we can edit the copy for + triggered email reminders sent out every X days, hours, or minutes before each meeting. I like to have 4 reminder emails beforehand sent to all participants: 2 days prior, 1 day prior, 5 hrs prior, and 30 min prior.

      5. Add additional participants’ email addresses and send reminder notifications to them all. This is useful for sessions that will be attended by multiple partners in the company, not just a 1-on-1 meeting. Maybe it’s a small team or family that needs to join the video call altogether, so the registering user should be able to add more emails to the registration

      6. Reverse booking — instead of revealing ALL my availability for users to book a call, have an option that lets me select a few specific time slots only (say 5 different slots) to offer as options to a specific user. That user would only be able to book those 5 slots.

      7. Invisible booking page for specific sessions — have a private booking URL that I can manually send to specific people to book a particular type of session. For example, I like to have a public booking URL for free consultations/sales calls, but I use a private booking URL for paid sessions. That way, I don’t get random clients booking sessions with me unexpectedly.

8, Questionnaire form during scheduling sign-up. More than just picking a timeslot, we need users to fill out a form of custom questions to collect user data and a checkbox that lets people acknowledge they accept rescheduling/cancellation terms or policies.

      9. Lock user ability to modify (reschedule, cancel, etc.) a session that has already started or past. I’ve had issues with other software where a user reschedules a meeting we already had weeks ago, which then deletes that original entry from my calendar. This messes up my ability to keep track of when and how often we met for billing. Maybe give a grace period of 15 minutes after the scheduled session starts to make modifications, but after 15 minutes, the session is locked down and becomes uneditable for the user signing up for the session (but always editable by me, the admin).

      • 10. Minimum buffer BEFORE each session. To avoid last-minute scheduling, make it so that guests cannot schedule a session that would start in LESS time than the user’s manually chosen buffer zone before each meeting (e.g. 16 hrs, 24 hrs, 2 days). This is different than buffer zones after each session to allow breaks. This buffer is to ensure someone doesn’t schedule a meeting with me without enough advance notice.

Each different meeting type should be able to have a different, manually adjusted buffer duration before each meeting.

        11. Make “share screen” easier. I still couldn’t figure out how to share my screen after playing with the software. I see share file, share a link, and embed a tool, but no share browser tab, share window, or share full screen options.

        12. Unsure if session recordings allow start/pause/resume, so you don’t have to record all the way through. There may be some parts that are more private and we need to option to turn on/off the recording for those moments in the meeting.

        13. CNAME for custom booking pages? Is this already possible? The session link to join a session shouldn’t mention Sessions in the URL, nor should the booking page a have link saying the session will take place on Sessions.us (with an active link). At least for LTD users, is there a way to hide all the Sessions.us branding and add CNAME?

        14. Floating video pop-up to allow user webcams to show up as a separate small, resizable window that floats atop all other browser and application windows. This way, even if a user navigates to a different webpage, they can continue seeing my webcam feed, and I can continue seeing their webcam too. Not sure if this is what the “spotlight” feature does — but it’d be nice to have it for each and all individual webcams. Maybe there’s 10 people in the session and everyone has his or her webcam on, but I only want 3 specific webcams to float on top of all my windows.

        15. Please keep improving the background blur and digital backdrops. There is a lot of fuzziness and shadows whenever I move my arms or body. In my room, there’s a lamp directly behind my head that also isn’t consistently cut out of the picture, so the lamp somewhat shows through the digital backdrops. It looks really glitchy and unprofessional.

        • Share screen is placed in the center of the screen, on the left-hand side of “End session”. It has all the options available.

          12. We will add pause soon. We have only start/stop, so you can create multiple recordings and skip the confidential part.

          13. Yes, you can have custom branding, check it here https://resources.sessions.us/resources/help-center/organizations/custom-branding-1

but not CNAME, yet. It will be deployed soon.

          14. Interesting idea, not sure if it works in a browser. It probably requires an app, but we’ll look into it.

          15. We are working on it.

      • Thanks a lot for these fantastic suggestions.

Rescheduling, buffer, max number of meetings, reminders, add extra participants via email, reverse bookings, and questionnaire form during scheduling sign-up, all have been noted.

As for invisible bookings, you can have multiple bookings, check it here: https://resources.sessions.us/resources/help-center/bookings

You can choose which one to display on a website or shared as a link.

        9. You can create a follow-up session, read all about it here: https://resources.sessions.us/resources/help-center/memory#d74dc761c80e48b681373f80e8277f9c

      • I’d say that a horde craving for Sessions LTD refreshing this page non-stop. Fortunately, we didn’t advertise at all. I don’t know what would have happened if we had presented testimonials from happy users, funding figures and a future roadmap before opening the checkout… It seems that the hype around Sessions is real and it comes from the customers themselves 😀

    3. Sessions has a great potential and I love the app.

      I am have three questions
      1. Do you have a public roadmap?
      2. What is “integrations”mean in the pro plan? Does it include in this lifetime deal as well?
      3. When will the webhook available?

      Suggestion about

      Book me
      1. Can you add reschedule, break or buffer time setting between each meeting?
Reschedule is specially important for one to one meeting.

      2. Auto detect and match the time zone of the participant. For example, if the host is from Toronto and participant is from Hong Kong, it will change the time zone so that the participant from can book according to their time zone.

      3. Have the option to show only the preset number of days in the calendar. For example, if I set only show availability on coming 14 days, it will automatically roll out the available schedule on coming 14 days as time go by

      4. Please improve the page loading speed. I am living in Toronto, however, the booking page loading speed is quite slow, every time it takes more than 5 seconds.

      5. Email reminder for both host and participants.
For example, we can set multiple email reminder like 1 day, 1 hour and 15mins before the meeting. This is extremely important

      6. SMS reminder as a paid add-on

      • Hey, thanks a lot for your questions. I will try to address them, one by one, below:

        1. Here’s our public roadmap, we will constantly update it. Besides what you can read here, in the following weeks, we’ll deploy Sessions Co-Pilot, an AI that radically improves your experience. https://resources.sessions.us/resources/roadmap

        2. The PRO plan includes all the integrations https://resources.sessions.us/resources/help-center/tools-files-integrations/integrations
+ soon-to-be-deployed Zapier, HubSpot, and others

        3. Webhooks we’ll be available soon, but we don’t have an ETA. We will announce them via email, in our Slack Community, and on social media.

        Suggestion about
        Book me
        1. Can you add reschedule, break or buffer time setting between each meeting? Reschedule is specially important for one to one meeting.
We are currently investigating these issues, they have been requested by many users and we’ll deliver them

        2. Auto detect and match the time zone of the participant. For example, if the host is from Toronto and participant is from Hong Kong, it will change the time zone so that the participant from can book according to their time zone.
The host sets whatever timezone preference, but the participant will see the timezone based on their local timezone. This is how Sessions behaves now.

        3. Have the option to show only the preset number of days in the calendar. For example, if I set only show availability on coming 14 days, it will automatically roll out the available schedule on coming 14 days as time go by
You can set the availability for 14 days when creating a booking, and only those 14 will be displayed.

        4. Please improve the page loading speed. I am living in Toronto, however, the booking page loading speed is quite slow, every time it takes more than 5 seconds.
This is a known issue, we are working to improve the loading speed.

        5. Email reminder for both host and participants.
For example, we can set multiple email reminder like 1 day, 1 hour and 15mins before the meeting. This is extremely important
We’ll deploy them done soon, they have been massively requested.

        6. SMS reminder as a paid add-on
We will definitely add SMS reminders as soon as possible.

          • We are taking Pabbly Connect into consideration, and very probably, we will make it happen. Can you please describe how you will use Pabbly with Sessions? What’s the use case you are looking at?

            • My user case will be integrate with CRM. When the booking schedule is cancelled by the customer, it will trigger a follow up email and sms sequences to encourage them to book the appointment again

    4. Is there a limit to how many active contacts can be in the same session simultaneously? I understand with this deal there will be a cap of 250 active contacts, does that mean all 250 could be in the same monthly meeting at the same time, for example?

      • Hi, Dan! Savian from Sessions here. 🤩

Yes, you are right, all 250 can be in the same session at the same time.

About the active contacts, we count the number of people joining your organization’s sessions each month and identify them through their emails. We count them only the first time they join a session. Those who join anonymously (without sharing their emails) are counted each time they join a session. The counter resets each month.

So, you can have up to 250 people per session and 250 active contacts per month. If you have more than 250 different people joining in a month, then you will be charged extra.
