Okay, so, great idea… but… I think you need to put this one back in the oven, it’s not finished baking just yet. There really needs to be an editor; that’s just a must. Sure, you can download it and edit it in Calibre, but that should be an option in the app. Also, there needs to be an option to change hyperlinks from external to internal. I’ll hang in there for a while, but before the 60-day window, this will need to be more beneficial than it is now.

But for my immediate use-case: Instagram posts — it does NOT work. Damn :’/

Getting started is easy. Just paste URLs, select a few options, and the tool outputs .epub and .pdf files. Took me less than 2 minutes! I’ve tested it with different blogs, and it works perfectly every time.

For future updates, I’d love to see the option to send multiple .epub files to Kindle at once and and an option to remove all URLs from the exported files. Currently, you can only choose to “Remove the source of the article.”
PS: I am seriously thinking of buying multiple copies to give to my kids/family members to encourage them to read more and use less social media.

The tool is easy to use, fast, and straightforward, but it lacks a basic editor for ebook customization.
I bought the license and tested it right away. Ebookany works as promised. It’s simple to use and generates ebooks quickly.
However, it’s still quite basic.
I wish there was an editor included so it could double as my ebook editor. For example, I tried converting a Google Doc article to an ebook by publishing it to the web and pasting the link into Ebookany. It worked perfectly with images, and I was happy with the result. But under the chapter title, the original Google Docs link remains, and there’s no way to remove it using Ebookany.
Currently, there are no options to customize things like themes, fonts, or layout. You can edit the book and author name, but it uses the default, plain format. Ebookany doesn’t even offer basic custom themes.
In short, Ebookany is good if you just want to quickly add links to an ebook, but there are simpler ways to do that. I do see potential for it to become a great online ebook creation tool, and I hope the developers continue improving it.

The concept of the program is great, giving you the ability to create eBooks from FAQs or documents found on the web. However, the functionality of the program stops there. It’s actually quite lacking in several areas.
For example, while you can add links to make eBooks, there are certain sites that will not allow create eBooks. Attempting workarounds, like using Google Documents, does not work properly either. It will set up a table of contents, but the main content you are using won’t show up.
Another issue is compatibility. The program doesn’t work with certain sites. You might find it works with five or six sites, but then you will encounter others where it doesn’t work for unknown reasons, possibly due to compatibility or functionality issues.
Additionally, you cannot upload PDFs that you already have to put them into book form, which is a significant drawback for me.
After using the program, I feel that while it is conceptually amazing its practical offerings are limited. You can achieve many of the same results with other programs you probably already use, such as a PDF converter. You can convert documents to PDFs and develop your own table of contents manually.
If the program offered unique features, like creating an actual eBook with flip pages or allowing you to upload your PDFs, it would add significant value. Integration of AI to help organize your documents could also provide a unique advantage.
If the program offered a roadmap to show where it was headed, it would be worth holding on to but since there is no roadmap it does not give you too much hope for the future. In addition the lack of a chatbot to reach customer service is an issue as well. I had to track down the support e-mail address and I still do not know if this is the correct address because I have not heard anything back yet.
Unfortunately, all of these things coupled with without lack of in-depth features shows the program doesn’t offer much beyond what you can already do with existing tools. It’s disappointing because once you move beyond the concept, there’s not much left.

We have plans to develop an API in our roadmap. As long as the content is not prohibited or blocked, you can create an ebook from any URL without any issues.
Can I convert an existing PDF into an EPUB?
Currently, we do not support uploading PDF files and converting them to EPUB; however, it is on our development roadmap.
Hello, i’m interested in the Notion to PDF export – as the native Notion export is not nice, you cannot customize anything.
My question is: is it possible to customize the import (from Notion, url) with a custom font, size etc, before exporting to a PDF or ebook ?
